if you like good beers and good food (who doesn't?), you should check out this place. this is one of my husband's favorite restaurants. he went out for dinner with his co-workers one night. and as soon as he got home, he started talking about how good it was. i still remember his shiny eyes, like a little boy :)

they have brunch menus on weekends.
i ordered "smoked salmon egg benedict" (front).
and my husband enjoyed "corn beef hash".
they made the best poached eggs i have ever had.

i've been trying more craft shows this year. i usually stay in vancouver area, but this time i will go explore a new place, which is fort langley. very very exciting!

i'm still here.

i have to apologize that it has been a while since i last updated my blog. i received some emails from my customers asking if everything is ok. yes, i am doing fine. thanks for asking. thought i should update my blog so people know that i hadn't fallen off the edge of this planet:) i've been thinking about new designs. try a little bit. and changed a little bit until i'm really happy with it. here are some new kinchaku pouches. yes, i'm happy.

spring markets.

spring is around the corner. i start seeing flowers coming out here and there.
i hope it gets a little warmer soon. so i can finally give up on my thick stockings :)

etsy front page.

my passport cover was on the front page of etsy. i couldn't see it myself. but one of my etsy friend kindly sent me a "good job" email. love all the beautiful work.

our hearts are in japan.

a day passed in japan after it was struck by a devastating tsunami and earthquake. my family live in japan, not in the area where it happened, but i tried to contact them as soon as possible. my family, relatives and friends are all ok. just watching the new on tv scares me a lot. i cried for the people who went through this tragedy. our hearts are in japan... thank you so much for your concerns and helps from all over the world. we are strong. we will get through this. i believe it.
